So today’s off to another fine start…
I was walking to class this morning and I noticed James waving to me at the last second. Due to a combination of not quite being awake yet and just being kind of out of it in general, I called back “Hey Brian…”. I think I caught myself at the last second and tried to change the “Brian” to “James”, but I’m not sure I got it in time. Man I’m an idiot. Show me a guy with a goatee before 10am and apparently I’m just going to assume it’s Brian. Sorry about that James, I feel like an ass…

Right now I’m sitting in my history class and the professor from my other history class (the one right after this one) is giving a guest lecture. I’m glad he’s at least an interesting guy to listen to since I’m going to have to spend the next two hours in the same classroom as him. We’re talking about the Enlightenment and I’m having a hard time not thinking about Lost during all this. He’s talking about stuff like John Locke, Tabla Rasa, Rousseau (a French philosopher who wanted to “get back to nature”), Freemasons (who seem a lot like the Others) and even the innate power of numbers. Damn, I really need to stop looking for Lost connections in every part of my life. Oh well, I guess that’s what happens when like two weeks until a new episode. Damn withdrawals… :-/

Hmmm, the first lecture sure was a lot more interesting. I guess talking about Freemasons is just more interesting than talking about how much the Chinese have to farm in a year in order for everyone to get enough calories. The best part of this class so far was when the big Jewish guy burst out laughing at something Professor McNeely said about sugar intake. Oh big Jewish guy, you’re incorrigible!

Crap, my computer’s battery is at 8%. Hmm, only fifteen minutes of class left, I might make it yet…
11:38
I’m down to 6%. Things aren’t looking too good…
11:47
Hmm, 1%. I guess I’d better turn my computer off.......
