Using my camera more combined with my rediscovery of nature resulted in me taking lots of bug pictures.
These are all pretty big, so brace yourself.
I cropped these circles out because of my discomfort with the rule of thirds (which I attempted to use when cropping some of the following pictures). asldkfjs

It was hard to catch the flies in flight. They were much faster than the bees. So here's a fly preparing for flight.
These bees are huge! Are they the papa bees, queen bees or what?
The way flies collect pollen is really odd. They basically wrap their bodies around the ...biology terminology fails me now!... thing in the middle and spin around the flower.
This hornet thing (?) was hanging out in my car while I was cleaning it.
This spider was gigantic!! It was consuming a bee, though I didn't quite catch that.
