Still lookin' for room mate...ug.
I really dislike that people do not put enough information about themselves on CL sometimes.
This only shows to a renter like me, that the person has something to hide.
I don't like that I cannot put any preferences about who I want to living in my house without being sued for being "discriminatory".
I feel like people looking for a room take advantage of that, so they do not put much about themselves on their add, and then they can give the rest of the details about themselves in a more intimate level like on the phone, so they can share their sad story and guilt the person into letting them stay there even though that person is not what they were looking for.
I have a room for rent that I absolutely NEED to rent out right away, but this process on CL is getting me nowhere. I don't want to rent to just anybody. That idea is very unsettling to me. I'd rather be struggling a little financially than to have someone live with me that I don't feel comfortable living with!
I am actually a very sweet person, but this situation is ticking me off!
Is there a few places that I can go that does not cost anything, that people check often to find a room mate? A place where people are more descriptive?
