Update on With the Light volume 8
I just found this post (link: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-10-09/yen-adds-final-posthumous-with-the-light-manga-volume), and it turns out that Yen press have officially announced the upcoming release of the final with the light volume...... it will be coming out next september. Next september?! That's nearly a year away!! They're only going to have to translate half than the normally do, so why is it going to take them almost a whole bloody year?!! That's even longer than normal! Ugh!
I have been wondering what Yen press are going to do about the fact that this volume will be only half the usual size. There will probably be tributes to Tobe-sensei, and I think a good idea would be for them to make up the other half out of colour spreads taken from the series, because some of the colour spreads in With the Light really are pretty, and I would love to see them in colour. I doubt they will though. Either way, hopefully before too long we will get descriptions and (eventually) a picture of the cover, and I will keep my blog updated with news.
