I was trawling through Takaya's blog and this is what I found...

The other day I happened to stumble across Natsuki Takays blog while looking for scans for Hoshi wa Utau. I mention it here because I found some nice pictures included in her posts that I can't say I've ever seen before.

I've got to say that I really like the Kisa one on the far left. It really is pretty. Her eyes look really luminous in this picture. And the one next to it is really cute ^.^  Kisa just looks adorable in that one. Who is that she's with? Saku? It doesn't look like Hiro or Tohru. I'm not sure who it is. The Kyo one is nice too. The style in that one is a little different from Takaya's usual style.

There's also this Haru doodle that Takaya posted around the start of of 2009 or 2008. She wrote in her blog that she drew it because she was thinking about how it was the year of the Ox that year.

There were also some Hoshi wa Utau pictures and scans. They weren't as great as the Furuba ones, but are still nice.

Takaya also took a picture of this chocolate she made. The picture of Sakuya and Ponta is printed on to sugar paper and stuck on to the chocolate. Kawaiii~ It's almost too adorable to eat!

But one of the things that really interested me was this scan, that was posted four months ago.

Is it just me, or does this look 'new'? I can't say I recognise it, and if you enlarge it (click on it) it does look more like the style used in Hoshi wa Utau than Fruits Basket. Also, Takaya says something about forgetting how to draw the characters uniforms and needing to refer back to older illustrations (sorry, google translate sucks). She also says something about 'enjoying drawing this' and 'wishing she could draw more'. So could it be possible that this picture comes from some new Fruits Basket omake or special chapter, or have I just got the wrong end of the stick? Could anyone enlighten me? If there is one, and anyone has scans, could you point me in the direction of them? I will be very interested to see if this really is a new omake.
