The chapter begins with Chikahito apartment hunting in Kyoto, after being allowed to move there by his mother. This seems to be taking place a few months after the oneshot, and he is thrilled to have been allowed to move to Kyoto. He wistfully remembers Hana, but knows that he will probably never see her again. Hungry and eager to try out more authentic Kyoto cuisine, he drops in on a noodle bar (one that is apparently quite famous in real life), and is shocked when who should greet him at the door but Hana.
Chikahito then sees Tachibana and Sakura sitting at a table, and asks them what they are doing here, when Hana calmly takes him by the hand and leads him to their table. Sakura orders nishin soba (a kind of soba you only find in Kyoto) for the four of them (Hana has a double sized portion XD), and a delighted Chikahito and Hana dig in. After the meal, and as they leave the resteraunt together, Chikahito informs them of his move to Kyoto. Tachibana, looking perplexed by this news, asks him what about his mother. Chikahito tells him that she recieved a sudden work transfer overseas, and Tachibana, looking troubled, looks at Hana and says 'Hana, you can't be...'.
As they are walking, Hana suddenly stops and then grabs Chikahito's hand (there seems to be quite a habit of this already in this manga), and leads (or rather drags) him to a temple. As Chikahito and the other look around, blackness suddenly surrounds them, and a Yasui Jinja (a rock covered in prayer paper) suddenly comes to life in the form of a giant lion. Hana calmly defeats the lion, and then calmly floats back to the ground, leaving Chikahito awestruck.
Hana then, out of the blue, tells Chikahito that 'it's fine if you live with Hana and the rest'. Chikahito is understandably surprised by this sudden offer, and Sakura says to Hana 'you brought your technique to bear, huh? Using Myouhou.' Chikahito asks what he means and he says 'Your lips were sucked by right? By Hana.'. Chikahito goes bright red, and Sakura explains that this is a technique to make people return to you without fail.
A flustered Chikahito realises that this must be why he was able to move to Kyoto, and Hana asks him 'is that bad?'. Chikahito says it's not bad, as he loves Kyoto, and Hana says to him 'then, lets live together'. Chikahito is still unsure as to whether to accept the offer, and Sakura says that if he can cook for them he will be helping them out, while Tachibana sullenly gives his consent 'if that's what Hana wants.'. Hana looks intently in to Chikahito's eyes, and he realises that he wants to be by her side. Chikahito agrees to come and live with her, and Hana smiles happily.
Oh, so Chikahito's moving in with Hana and the rest 0.0 ? Things are moving pretty quickly here. So they will be living together in this manga? Cute ^.^. I wasn't expecting that. For some reason it kind of makes me think of Fruits Basket. There already seems to be quite a cute relationship between Chikahito and Hana. I'm fully supporting their pairing, it's too cute ^.^. And I didn't think that we would get to learn the reason for that kiss so soon. So it's a technique of Hana's that makes people return to her? People were theorising different reasons behind that kiss but no-one thought of that. There's probably another deeper meaning to it though. I look foward to the next chapter, and seeing Chikahito, Hana, Sakura and Tachibana's life together ^.^
