Wow, what the hell just happened in this chapter!
So Soubi has returned to Semei? The hold Seimei holds over him is unnerving. He seems to hate him, and Seimei is so cruel to him, but at the same time he feels tied to him. It's like disturbing, manipulative mind games. And how utterly fragile Soubi is mentally becomes painfully apparent in this chapter. He's just so fragile and helpless, it's almost childlike. He feels no sense of worth, no sense of purpose, and no reason for existance; those three things he can only get from Seimei alone. So it's not surprising that he returned to him. But poor Ritsuka.
This new, surprise twist makes me think that manga must be beginning to approach it's conclusion. I can't remember how many volumes the manga is meant to run for (I think the author once said 15 or 16), but it looks like we are approaching it's conclusion. Things are finally starting to happen again.
