So my first proper post in a while...
Well, first of course there is the whole current-issue with the livejournal changes. I'm not going to go in to it, as I don't have much time or want to depress my self by going in to it, but I do have to say that the conduct and treatment of the livejournal staff towards their users regarding it has been utterly disgusting. It has ranged from patronising, condescending and insensitive to downright rude. With the latter, I am of course talking about one certain staff member, who amongst other things, has refered to some Livejournal users who have reported problems with the new system as 'liars', and appeared dismissive and bored when dealing with people's concerns. The attitude and behaviour of certain members of the LJ staff has been disgusting, and I think everyone is owed a serious apology.
And then there is the whole news that the ugly new comments design is just the *start* of an entire site re-design.
My reaction, as summed up by a cat:
The new format is also ugly and clunky, and if the new website design goes ahead I will be furious. They are not listening to us at all, and it is disgusting.
But moving on the brighter topics: it's Christmas tommorow :D!! And I'm ready-ing myself for the Hetalia Christmas event!! Who else is preparing for the Hetalia Christmas event :D? I'm excited ^^! It's my first Christmas event and I really look foward to it. For anyone participating, see you there ^^!
That said, since I'm going to be alternating between family-celebrations and the Hetalia christmas event, I'm not sure whether I will actually have the time to be on my journal. So therefore, I just want to say:
Merry Christmas!
However you are celebrating it, or even if you are not celebrating it at all, I wish everyone a lovely day to tommorow! Happy Christmas!
