Also, Akashi so totally had detailed coaching from Akared on how to prod Marvelous in the right direction. (Because, of course, Akared is most certainly not dead and is just hanging around somewhere or other.)
This week's episode also told me that even if the ultimate power from a given series has already been obtained, that doesn't mean characters from it can't still show up. So there is still hope for Time/Aba/Zyu! DO NOT LET ME DOWN, GOKAIGER.
I also dreamed a Gokaiger dream a few nights ago. I think my brain wanted to make some logical leap as to why Takeru didn't appear in the Shinkenger episodes - not that I'm complaining, I love Kaoru, but since the Gingaman episode proved that each series' individual history still happened in addition to the Legend War, there are two equally powerful and canonical ShinkenReds at the end of the series. So we know where one is, where's the other? My brain apparently loves to explore plot logic. I didn't really remember what happened in said dream enough to do anything with it, but I did come up with a possible idea after the fact. I'm still not sure it's enough to actually do anything with the idea, but I'll poke it with a stick every so often to see if it wants to turn into something I can actually base a fic on.
Anyway, need to sleep soon. Also note that gratuitous icon post is gratuitous...
