Productive day.
I did some cleaning in the work room (which of course desperately needs it...) until my legs had had enough. (It's still not how I want it yet, but hey, progress!) I took pictures of the new furs I have for doll wigs and reopened my commission threads. I worked on some new pairs of eyes (I'm experimenting with steampunky stuff now - gears and clock faces).
Still no actual sewing yet, but I'm feeling pretty good about how today has worked out. ^_^
Oh, and last night on a whim I watched the Kamen Rider Decade movie, All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker. Okay, so Decade is usually not the most coherent show ever, but seriously - this movie sets new records for Not Making Any Sense Whatsoever. Maybe it would have been slightly less incoherent with subtitles, but somehow I'm doubting it. I'm not going to go into too much detail, but basically three things leaped out at me:
1) Tsukasa's best scene basically ever is when he's all locked out in the rain and being totally pathetic. BWAHAHAHAHA SUFFER MR. GARY STU. *ahem* (Oh yeah, and please stop wearing magenta vinyl. Really. Any time now.)
2) WHAT was up with Real!Shouichi appearing for no reason at all for like two seconds at the very end of the movie? SERIOUSLY.
3) Probably the best part is when W shows up to be completely randomly awesome. Technically speaking, there's no WAY that should have worked out so well - beginning-of-series-W is nowhere near as powerful as Bad Guy, Decade, or Kuuga's (Totally non-canonical and by the way pretty ugly) Rising Ultimate Black Evil Whatever form. But of course, because that's the way this movie works, W shows up to save Tsukasa and Not!Yuusuke because they are so totally outclassed and stuff, easily whups Bad Guy for a while, and then Phillip gets bored or something, ruins the "look how awesome I am" moment, and convinces Shoutarou to just drive off again. SO RANDOM. And Tsukasa and Not!Yuusuke are all "Uh... Kamen Rider W? What?" because of course technically he didn't really exist at the time, his show not having aired yet and stuff.
Okay, 4 things: PLEASE tell me that the giant Kamen Rider guy came from an Ultraman crossover or something and there was actually a reason for him to exist and they didn't just pull him out of thin air. Please?
Okay, I really am done now, I swear. I think I'm gonna go play a videogame or something... maybe Odin Sphere finally! I own it now and stuff... :P
