Success!
So i'm not sure if anyone remembers me talking about the fashion show me and my classmates were going to put on, but its time for me to bring that up again, lol So last Friday was our show 'Serpentinata', and it turned our really really great! :D The morning of the show was pretty hectic for the decor committee (which i was on) ; running in heals, carrying heavy boxes, bending wire; moving tables; prepping the area, and lots more. But we all pulled together with all the other committees and had everything ready by the time the first show started. Im pretty sure everything went really smoothly, unless something minor went down which i dont know about. BUT YES, SUCCESSSS. by the time the shows started all the decor responsibilities were taken care of, so i got to hand out pamphlets to all the guests, which meant i got to watch all the shows! :D The 6:30 menswear has a so-so turn out, but the rest had amazing turnouts! The room was so full, it was really such an amazing site. As well it was great to hear peoples positive comments when they were leaving. A random photographer started speaking to me in between shows (i think he was pretty well known? but idk). Anyways he was telling me how our show was pretty much better than Mass Exodus (aka. Ryerson's 4th year fashion show which is usually spectacular, due to their larger budget!) He said some things like how our styling was better, and the set up was really professional and stuff. Lovely words to hear, srsly.
For the clothes (menswear and womens evening wear), EVERYTHING WAS GORGEOUS REALLY. Beautiful flowing dresses, and handsome male models in day wear suits/vests/ect! *___* It was good! ;D I wish i had pics, but i didn't bring my cam since i was working the whole time!
As the last show came to an end, everyone had to stay behind and clean up, which was really a team effort since we got it done pretty quick! Before we left we had a de-briefing on our runway and took a class picture as a memory! Definitely and unforgettable memory. I don't even know how i was able to walk to the train station to go home after, my feet were KILLING ME! They still hurt now, but the pain was worth it! XD~

So besides that great Friday, ive been lazy for the rest of the weekend since im still recovering from the exhaustion! Spent the morning watching God of cookery and Hello Baby! Dawww, i think im becoming a slight SHINee fan now, idek. Ive been recently really addicted to AMIGO but that's it. hmm hmm, so yah i think that is all.
Oh ps. i changed my LJ layout, something more spring like? :D What do you think~? <3
