A/N: this chapter is really short, I know. When it comes to multichapter fanfics the first few chapters are always short. So please bear with it. It's the first time in years I'm writing a multichapter fanfic.
I got this idea for the fanfic already after I watched Troubleman for the first time some weeks ago. XD Hence the title of the fanfic. XD And I was also inspired by Yukan Club episode 6. ;)
This is also my very first NEWS fanfic.
I'm not sure about the genres and rating.

Troublemen - chapter 1
Kato Shigeaki ran as fast as he could. He could hear the two men behind him, getting closer with every step. Shige sped up and ran through streets. Some people stopped to look at him, but he continued anyway. He didn’t want to get caught.
“Why did it have to be me?” he mumbled. “The others will laugh for sure when they hear about this...”
Shige gave a quick glance over his shoulder and saw he had built up a safe distance. He decided to go to a bar he frequently visited. He entered the bar just in time, as the two men ran right past the door. Shige sighed in relief and tried to calm down. Then he walked to the counter.
“Shige!”
Shige looked up upon hearing a familiar voice calling him.
“Massu!” Shige walked to his fellow NEWS member and sat down at the table.
He was happy he ran into Masuda Takahisa and not Tegoshi Yuya, he would make fun of Shige for sure if he heard about it.
But it was as if Massu could read his thoughts.
“Tegoshi should be here soon, we promised to meet here,” he said, crushing Shige’s hopes of not having to see Tegoshi this evening.
When Tegoshi entered the bar, he wasn’t alone. Somehow he met Koyama Keiichiro along the way. The two were talking while walking to the table.
“Massu, you won’t believe what Kei-chan saw,” Tegoshi began excitedly, not seeing Shige at first.
It was only when Koyama and he sat down that they noticed Shige, who seemed rather down. Tegoshi’s smile grew, as he noticed Massu’s piqued interest in what he had to say. Shige glanced at Tegoshi and saw the smile. He knew enough.
“If you are going to tell him that then I’ll leave,” he said.
“I suggest you don’t, unless you want to get caught,” Koyama replied rather seriously. “They are still roaming around this area.”
Shige let out a huge sigh and let his head fall onto the table, a bit too hard, to the point it actually hurt. He sighed again. Tears welled up in his eyes.
“Why me?” he groaned. “I have a bad feeling about this...”
Tegoshi’s smile faded a little.
“Actually, Kei-chan only saw you running away from two men,” he explained. “So we don’t know what had happened before that.”
“So that’s why he was panting so much when he entered the bar,” Massu replied.
“It started because of such a stupid reason, I’m sure you’ll all laugh at me, so I won’t tell you,” came Shige’s stubborn reply.
“Good, then we won’t ask,” Koyama said.
Shige sat up with a sigh.
“You have a bruise there,” Tegoshi pointed. “Please be careful the next time you slam your head onto the table.”
Massu and Koyama laughed and even Shige broke into a smile.
While drinking Shige forgot about the incident, not knowing it would only give more trouble to him and the others.
Short preview of the next chapter:
"Did something happen?" Shige asked.
"Massu was attacked by someone when he went to the supermarket this morning," Tegoshi answered.
I think I gave quite a cliffhanger with just that. XDD /hides
Uhm yeah, what should I say... please don't kill me. XD /runs
