another snow day!
Another snow day! I can't believe this! Our third snow day in three weeks! Plus we have had several early closings and late openings. AHH!
I finished and submitted my application for the Alaska SeaLife center, ekkkk. I want it so badly but I don't want to get my hopes up. I know a ton of people apply...And I don't find out until March 31st so there is no point in stressing over it. But seriously...spending my summer here:
In other news - I am soaking up everything I can this semester. We have been having so much fun around the apartment. Today Leah, Grace, and I are making bracelets. I am going to make an egg on a bagel sandwich to eat. Sarah came over the other night and we made squash lasagna for everybody and Shep was here too. We went ice skating. Last night, Leah, Grace, Jen, Sarah, Michelle, Kevin, Shep, and I all went to Bidwell and had such a fun time. I love my classes and they are not overwhelming - it's almost like I am still on vacation but it's an even better vacation.
I recently finished reading The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy. It was a really good book. It made me cry so much. It is all about family and forgiving family and how strong ties between family are. It has been making me think about my family and my sisters a lot. I think also because I have been thinking about Kate and missing her, and missing Laur. We were all together so much over winter break and I had so much fun with them and my parents. It is the first time in a while where I feel like I really miss them so much. I keep talking about them to my roommates and I have to keep telling myself to shut up...I am happy I am going to see Mom and Dad this weekend for James David's party.
