nostolgia, changes, transitions
I just watched (for like the hundred time), a video made by Chrissy who went to South Africa with me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tD_tkTxqCY). Watching this video makes me YEARN to be back at Entabeni. It is almost like someone else went and it was all just a dream...like it wasn't even real. That is how magical of an experience it was. I know I will get back there some way or another.
Just the other day, I started a new "sticky" (a virtual sticky note which is something macs have). In this sticky, I started writing down all of the things I have loved/do love about this year and Uconn in general. I can't help but think about next year, it is always in the back of my mind. One thing I am going to miss next year is walking to school "the long way" with Leah many mornings. I am also going to miss our "meetings" at the dining room table, just coming home and chatting about our days and just random shit while playing with candles, and more recently, making earrings.
In less than two weeks, the semester is over...
