And all the broken tethers...We can bring together...I need to find some peace...

Don't have too much to update...but at the same time I do have a lot...so read at your own risk.

[Friday]
-Saw The Longest Yard with Lauren. Now I know most of the people reading this have never seen the original one. In fact, I'm guessing that some of the people reading this didn't even know that there was an original one. Well, there was, and this version wasn't as good as that one.
-With that said, this was a typical, funny, Adam Sandler movie. Burt Reynolds (the original Paul "Wrecking" Crewe) stole the show, but probably b/c I'm a Burt Reynolds fan (Cannonball Run anybody?). Then, of course, there was the fact that three wrestlers ("Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Bill Goldberg, and Kevin Nash) were in it. In fact, I think Kevin Nash provided some of the funnier moments in the movie. All in all I would recommend it to anybody looking to see a movie, but I'd also tell them to see the original one first.

[Saturday]
-Went to Old City to celebrate Jill's un-birthday. Her birthday isn't until next month, but Meghan and Rita weren't gonna be around b/c they were gonna be in Italy, so the four of us went out. It started out with dinner at Mad River. After a decent meal, a couple of Yuenglings, and a couple shots of Jack (I was the designated driver, so I got my drinking out of me early) we went out looking for another place to go.
-During the night we ran into the following Holy Cross alum: Jamie DeSimone, Winter Boehm, and Kristen Brennan.
-Girls on the street giving away flyers to get free shots at this place called Mint. So we said "what the hell" and checked it out. Our choice of free shot was either a kamikazee or a kamikazee. So we chose the latter. :P After about five minutes there we noticed that John the Stutterer from Howard Stern fame was there. So I gave Chris a call and Lucas a call after I got my picture taken with him. You can check it out here. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=2266780&imageID=125625265&Mytoken=20050607211752
-Jill talked to a friend of hers and we went back to Mad River. My buddy, Nick, was there for his birthday and we also ran into Andrea and Karen. Anyways...I'm not going to go into detail here, but Meghan had a situation and had to go to the hospital. So we went to Thomas Jefferson and her parents met up. Then I took Jill & Rita home. Didn't get home until 6 in the morning.

[Sunday]
-Not much was done. Rusty finished 5th...Tony Stewart knocked Jeff Gordon out...so it was a good day.

[Monday]
-Put in all of the air conditioners minus one (the big one that's for upstairs).
-The JV team played Cinnaminson. They were 6-1. We were 5-1. So it was really a game for first place. We played like crap, but that was b/c we hadn't had a game in 3 weeks...so we were a bit rusty. In any case we ended up tying them 1-1. We should have beaten that team, but I'll take the tie. Especially when we gave up a breakaway with about 5 seconds left. Oh, and one of our players went down in the first period. Snapped his collarbone in half. That sucks.
-After that game I had to go to Mt. Laurel to play in a men's league game. The regular goalie wasn't gonna make it, so I had to don the pads. Keep in mind I hadn't played goalie since December. Anyways, I was dying out there. When you don't play goalie all of the time you get tired doing everything. Going down. Getting up. Skating. Standing. Plus you also get hot as hell as well. Luckily, the game was taking place during a thunderstorm and the power went out with 4 minutes left in the first period...so we got about a 10 minute break until it came back on. I needed that.
-So we had about 9 or 10 players playing for us. All of which ranged from their 30s to their 50s. I'd say the other team had about 14 or 15 players and were probably in their 30s & 40s. Anyways, like I said, I was dead. The team was dead. The third period all the other team would do was give the puck to the point...crash the net...and take shots. Granted only about two people reading this have any clue what I'm talking about...but that doesn't matter.
-In the end I'd say we were outshot around 50-10. We won 1-0.
-Oh yeah, I "tweaked" my groin.

[Tuesday]
-Since mom was home I thought we'd put in the big air conditioner. Well, I then realized that mom wouldn't be able to carry half the weight...so I sucked it up and carried it up ("tweaked" groin and all) and installed it. That thing's a bitch.
-JV game. Only had 9 players due to two kids being injured and who knows where the other kids were. Luckily we played the worst team in the league. We won 8-0.

[This week]
-Not entirely sure. Finnigan's Wake is Friday night, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna want to go out after last weekend. I still have to see Star Wars...so maybe I'll take ma to see that on Sunday. Maybe I'll just make it an entire movie week/weekend. So if anybody wants to see a GOOD movie, let me know. I'm down...mark me down...

That is all.
