Counting all the flowers...Waste the precious hours...I need to find some peace...
-Ok. So Tuesday was the triumphant return to Charlie Brown's. Ok, I'm not exactly sure how "triumphant" it was, but it was a return nonetheless. Just ended up being me and Kerin doing the margarita thing. Ain't no thang. I forget the bartender's last name...I think his first name was Adam. He was a year younger than me at HC. It was a good time.
-Wednesday we went to visit Pop Pop in the nursing home. Ma told me that they told him that he has to go home Tuesday b/c he scored well on his tests and that insurance wouldn't cover his stay. I'm not exactly sure how I feel about this. I mean, I love my grandfather and all, but I don't want to have to worry about him leaving the house in the middle of the night. At the nursing home we knew for sure that he was taking his meds when he was supposed to (his short term memory is getting shot. He'll ask a question and 10 minutes later he'll ask again). We'll see how it goes.
-That night I went to see House of Wax with Melissa. I thought it was good. Melissa thought it was too gory and was covering her face throughout 90% of the movie. She knew what she was getting into. She was the one that suggested it in the first place. Luckily there was a grand total of 7 people in the theater, so her one loud scream wasn't that embarrassing. :P
-Last night I did the goalie coach thing down in Washington Township. Found out that I officially have the coaching job beginning in September. SWEET! $500 for a Monday-Thursday night job isn't too bad. Plus there will be two weeks in August where they have a day camp for the teams and I'll be making $1000 a week. And I still have those two weeks I'm working Cap and Tuesdays & Thursdays for now. So I think I'm gonna hold off getting a day job until September. It would be kinda ridiculous to me to find a job...then be like, "Hi, I know I'm new here, but I need to take a month off (4 weeks total of hockey camps)." Plus, now I'll be able to trade in my car and get a new one in July (and just in time...that's when the registration runs out and I know for a fact that it won't pass inspection unless I pay over a grand to get it fixed).
-Watched The Apprentice Finale last night. Thank God the right chick one...the other one was so annoying. Then went to the diner with Jill & Rita. Good times.
-Tonight one of the parent's of a JV player got a box to Game 1 of the AHL Conference Finals. The Phantoms are hosting Providence. Considering everybody's busy (and not asking Rose b/c she's still bitter over something :P) I randomly texted Candace Kloidt and turns out she's not doing anything. So we'll see how that all goes. First time in a box for me...hopefully it won't ruin the hockey experience. Plus there will be coaches and some players there...I'm just hoping it's a good time.
-Hearing rumors of some sort of "group hang" for tomorrow night. I have no clue what this means, so until I get more information I won't confirm one way or another what my plans will be.
-Boss gets married sometime this weekend. And I know he doesn't read this...but CONGRATULATIONS, DR. P!!!
