Well, perhaps you see enough excitement that it is consolation and balance for you.

Naaah, I don't that's it.

Last night I dreamed I was lost in a dark forest trying to find my father and I couldn't. Then some puppets strung me up, sapped me of my strength, and set me on fire.

My dreams are usually just lame shit like that.

You remember your dreams! Excellent! Do you realize you're dreaming when you dream? Can you influence actions in them?

Sometimes.

I tend to like...phase in and out of lucidity.

That is often the case. But it's amazing you can do so much! You will get better if you practice, and then.. well. Many things are possible when you know how to shape and control your dreams.

Life itself is made of dreams and nighmares...

I don't think what I can do when I dream is very remarkable. It's not like I can lucid dream when it matters, anyway.

As I said, it takes practice. But six hours a night gives the average person an incredible amount of time with which to practice.

And what's the benefit of lucid dreaming, exactly?

Dreams are the training ground to humanity's next step of evolution.

Mastering lucid dreaming means you can then learn how find the dead roads and all of the dead places.

From there, you can travel anywhere.

It lets you divine things?

It will give you the path to diving if that is what you search for.
It will give you the guides and teachers you need to find anything you search for.
It will give you the secrets to life and death and what is beyond them.
It will give you freedom from your body and fear the of death.
It will give you immortality without condition.

Anything you can dream of is possible, once you start to travel the dead roads.

Then sleep, and dream and begin to mold your dreams. And keep this in your heart. It will help. "Nothing is true. Everything is permitted."
