I love Christmas-time!
Friday night was fun. Watched the Ring and the Ring Two at Michelle's house...the phone at her house wouldn't stop ringing, though! AHH! :0) Then on Saturday, we went to her church to do a holiday shopping babysit. It was so much fun! Thank goodness we got to be with the 9 to 10 year olds, because we got to basically screw around the whole time. Ah, memories!
Last night was so amazing!!! We went to Greenfield Village for their "Holiday Nights" program, where the village is decorated for Christmas and their are authentic carolers, ice skaters, chimney sweeps, etc... It was FREEEEEEEZING!! Basically a living nightmare for me! :0) But I was prepared and I brought layers, but then I was still cold, now that I think about it....
Anyways, we went ice skating, took a Model-T ride, saw some horses(!), went through most of the houses, and listened to a small brass band and drum and fife corp. The drum and fife thing was really cool, so I asked about it and they gave me a brochure. I went online and it looks pretty neat! I'm actually thinking about joining it, which I think would be pretty flippin sweet! :0) At the end of the night, it started to snow just as the fireworks started! Then after the fireworks were over, we marched out with the drum and fife corp. It was picture perfect!
Well, I'm going to go get ready so I go to my Grandma's house (another tradition...I'll explain later) Bye!
