I'm not real happy with the constant changes to Facebook, but I have to admit its a whole lot easier to use on my smartphone than LJ. I hate that I don't write as much as I used to. And there's no sense of permancy. Good luck finding something you FB'd 2 months ago.
I'll probably keep using both, unless the latest changes drive my friends away from FB. Then I might try Google+.
It seems to me FB is shifting towards being a marketing tool for advertisers rather than just a social network. I "like" nothing except friends' stuff, play no games, and put as little information out there as possible.
