(no subject)
So I went to visit Lindsey in Nederland last Sunday through Wednesday and I had a complete blast. Sunday night Lindsey, Michael, Michael's brother Aaron, Jacob, Jacob's boyfriend Xander, and myself went to see the Saratoga ghost light. Of course, I was freaking out the whole way there and when we got there. I didn't want to get out of the car, but I did eventually, deserpately clinging to Lindsey's hand. Aaron scared the crap out of me by throwing something in the woods, so it seemed like something was moving out there. >>; Xander was all, "Nothing ever really happens until 3:00 am, so I don't know what we expect to see." Yet as soon as he finished the sentence, a light appeared at the end of the road. After I pointed it out, it started to fade in and out and it seemed so...harmless. It was just...cool looking. We drove down farther, and got out, saw it again, and then drove down farther again, of course, all of these stops included us walking down about a quarter of a mile and then back again. At the second stop, Jacob pulled out his fire staff and lit the ends on fire and began to spin. It sounded really cool, and it nicely highlighted his feminimity. Photos available in his myspace. And then came my favorite quote of the night. Xander, walking away and pouting because Michael and Aaron kept scientifically explaining away the light and because Jacob was fire spinning, said, "I'm here for the ghosts." It was just so funny.
Monday, I don't really remember much, except hanging out with my Lindzus, and then Kim over. Then Kim and I ate barbeque at Michael's house. Aaand, then Tuesday, Kim and I had breakfast and then I bought a new swimsuit, went back to Lindsey's, decorated some flip flops, and then I went with Lindsey to pick up Jacob in Beaumont and then the three of us followed her family to look at potential houses to move into. Then, we went to the heritage festival.
Then, I got back and pretty much worked and shopped alot. And last night, we cleaned, I mean cleaned my room. We moved out furniture, moved in furniture, scrubbed the walls, vacuumed the ceiling, flipped my mattress(thank god), and all kinds of fun stuff. Today is closet and Container Store day. Next weekend is painting time. I've only wanted to paint for, oh, since we moved. >>; I think I'm going to do beige walls, maybe one red wall. And I'm getting another computer desk. *needs it*
Bwaha! I get 38 icons now, guys! I'm so excited. Hehehe.
