Whew...
Classes are officially over. Let summer begin! :D
*looks over huge list of things to do*
1. Rotate kids clothes... pack away old clothes. Give away the rest.
2. Sort through, give away, put away, all my stuff piling up in basement.
3. FINALLY unpack and move books to new shelves Brad made earlier this year.
4. Lots of garden and yard work that merits its own separate list.
5. Reorganize things in kitchen so I am using more of the lower cabinets (yes, I had not been using them earlier because kids kept pulling stuff out of it)
6. Look for 2 waterproof twin mattresses for kids, at a good price.
7. Update my own worn out wardrobe
8. Find a new job. Srsly.
9. Try to fit a family vacation in between everything.
Guh... then again, whatever happened to those days when I had way too much free time? ^^;
On a more humorous note... both of my kids have been rabid Astroboy fans. I kid you not! One day over a week or so ago I decided to rent the new Astroboy movie from NetFlix. Every night since then (and twice a day on the weekends) we have been watching Astroboy! In a way, I had been allowing it because it keeps them quiet AND out of my hair when I am making dinner. For Lauren to be into this really has me surprised because she normally isn't a TV/movie watcher. *innocent grin* Then the inevitable happened... Josh is drawing fanart. It's funny, one of the special features they have is how to draw Astroboy in the old-school anime way. Then he wanted to try that. Tonight? He'd been drawing a couple sketches of Metro City. So cute! ^^
In the meanwhile... I spied the anime sponsored by MANGA on YouTube. Now I want to watch more of this when I can, since I never really seen much of it before. *laugh*
