My fellow IB class mates, thank you for being here.
Nearly 2 months ago, we entered into a great challenge with even greater consequences.
Today the IBO has spoken. They have affirmed our course. They have told us to go forward.
Three years ago, we set forth on a journey to pass our Spanish IB Exam. That time was one of widespread frustration and doubt about our futures, about our ability to speak as well as write in spanish. The scope and pace of those problems was threatening to many.
Every IB student today can take pride in the fact that in these last few years for the first time in all of our school career the majority of everyone has passed. Tonight is a night for joy, not just for us here but for all who have passed.
Tonight we celebrate the miracle of passing the IB Spanish Test.
