the Palouse

Did yall know that the normal Windows desktop background that's automatically on your computer unless you change it is a picture of the Palouse? I hadn't ever known that. But yeah, that's where i am right now. And i'm totally lovin it. I'm telling you, forget whatever you think about WSU boring because it's out "in the middle of nowhere" because that's what i thought too and I was completely wrong. It is soooo awesome. Like everybody here is soooooo friendly and nice and you can become instant friends with people. I have never met so many friendly people, like woah. The campus is like a city itself anyway, so there's plenty to do all the time and nothing lacking. And i realized that i don't need a school in a big city because, what was i gonna do in one? Hit up the major shopping centers? No, i'm too moneyless for that. Listen to city street noise and smell pollution? I can do that anytime. But wsu is seriously an awesome school. It's really involving, and from the moment you move in people tell you that you're in the 'cougar family' and it totally is a family, cuz that's how people treat it and you can feel that. The Mayor of Pullman is also a professor on campus, so it just makes the whole place really Cougar spirited and everything. It's really quite cool and different, i'm actually glad to be out in somewhere like this where i'm more forced to go everywhere on campus and find what it has to offer and all its forms of cheap entertainment. It's better for me anyway, all i can afford is cheap. So, my first day of classes was today, it went pretty darn good. I'm going to get soo hecka buff on this campus too, because you're never not walking up hill (or up stairs) at some point because the campus is entirely on hills. Walking to my classes today was such a workout, i was sweaty. oh ya, btw my classes are World Civ, World Agriculture, Chem, Animal Science Beef cows, Animal science orientation, and ballet. woo wooo. There is just ONE thing/person that could make this place better...
