Update on the disabilities saga:
I've decided I'm going to do it my own way, and not register with the College after phone calls and several emails with the assistant Dean of Disabilities. If Prof. Benfey is an ass when I happen to fall asleep in class, which I am going to take every precaution to NOT, I'll go to the college and we'll have a happy fun time.
I think that in his attempt to treat all students really fairly and all the same, he just completed overreacted to me because I have abnormal sleeping habits but would still like to be treated like normal. And then I probably over reacted right back in his face. Oh well. Time to let it lie.
