Yeah he does have very large withers, and that seems to be the root of a lot of his conformational issues. Those are some really good points (thanks!). I didn't even know "capped elbow" is a conformational fault.
I don't see what you mean by he doesn't have a very long gait...he is tracking up in this photo and he usually over tracks, much to the dismay of our farrier who keeps having to put his front shoes back on!
