The haze, of course, is more effectively called rapid eye movement - not that this matters.

When it lifts, Sheila finds herself in a perfectly familliar location ... the lake outside, at Milliways, watching the not'stars.
"Ashley?"
She turns to where she thought her newly-named fiancee sat, talking to her of something, anything -- and there's nothing.
