i made my first ever new year's resolution, and have, for also the first time ever, accepted january first as the actual beginning of an actual new year. time to start anew! all over again! things are going to be DIFFERENT!
last year was awful. no joke. it was downright bad.
despite my absolute longing for change, i still find myself five dollars short of my rent (which is already a week late) with no money left for train rides or cat food (or people food for that matter). despite this, i still feel ok. probably on the basis that nothing could possibly be as bad as what was.
