I traveled home to northern Maine, to take care of my mother's real estate office while she was away for a few weeks. It was around the christmas holidays, so tons of people had stopped by to drop off gifts, and there was a gift table outside her office door with tons of presents, some of which were for me.
I was getting ready to get the keys to the office door from her hiding spot on top of a flood light, when a lady came out behind me and said she saw where I kept the keys, and was wondering if I would let her inside to play the organ. (In life, my mom doesnt own a piano or organ anywhere). I said yes, although I felt a little odd about it.
I let her in, and showed her some special antiques on top of the organ that all had stories behind them, and let her play the keys. I became comfortable enough to leave her on her own and went into another section of the office, where the "gift table" from outside was now set up in that room.
An old friend of mine from central Maine, JP, was there, and he looked amazing. He also had a wedding ring on, so I was excited that he got married to his lady Michelle, and started talking to him about it and how it happened. At this point in the dream, Saul was also there. JP gave me a set of three gifts, all of which were elaborately decorated with gold ribbons and jewels and things like that. Very glitzy. He was telling me about the proposal to Michelle and the wedding itself, but also involving details of how Larry and his wife had been involved, and mentioned how I may not want to hear those pieces of the story. I tried to indicate to JP that Saul was there, so no need to really talk much about my previous relationships... but I was trying to do it in a way that wouldnt make it obvious and hurt Saul's feelings. JP totally didnt pick up on that hint, and went into a few more details about how he knew it upset me that Larry was with her, but not to worry, because they never liked her, either.
At that point, the dream was over.
