Thrones has smited me! In a good way!
Game of Thrones had its season finale last night three days ago and I CAN'T BELIEVE WE HAVE TO WAIT A WHOLE YEAR FOR THE NEXT INSTALLMENT!!!! (I suspect I'm experiencing a fraction of what GRRM's readers feel as they wait for the next (final? is this supposed to be the final?) book in the saga. So I'm not expecting tons of pity.)

Do you have the discipline to therefore not read Book 1? Erm...I am somewhat doubtful judging from how very much you adored the show.
I'm doubtful toooo!! D: Because the show was so fantastic and I'd love to look at how the story and characters come across as written as opposed to acted. I'm fairly sure it's how the actors portray Cersei and Jamie that's caused my conflicted feelings. There's a scene at the very end between Jamie and Catelyn Stark where he just seems so... I don't know, tired maybe? of what all he's done. But it's more in the way he talks than what he says, so I wonder how it comes across in the book.
It will just have to be an experiment in self-discipline, I guess. ;D
I liked Arya Stark a lot. But I am not surprised you like Sansa, I would have predicted that (had anyone asked. *grin*)
Hah! That's hilarious, but yes, Sansa was right up my alley. Though I adore Arya too! I especially appreciate that she's not an expert swordswoman by virtue of her tomboy-ness, but that she's having to work her little heart out for it. And I really love the relationship between the sisters, how they just don't get each other, but underneath it all, they love each other. (I hope we get to see them come back together further down the road.) Also! I totally predict shippiness between her and the blacksmith apprentice (one of the king's bastards, iirc). Though I strongly suspect Arya would roll her eyes hard at that prediction. ;D
