Uh... Yay me?

I just signed up for NaNoWriMo!!! \o/
For the first time ever!!

Here's why this is a totally, ridiculous idea! :D

• On the first week of November, our new place is available to move in!
• On the second week of November, my Dad and I head north to help my grandmother while my Aunt and Uncle take a much-needed vacation.
• On the third week of November... okay, nothing is officially scheduled, but hopefully our stuff will have arrived from Miami and we'll be busy moving in. Hopefully.
• On the forth week of November, my husband and I fly to Kentucky to enjoy Thanksgiving with his parents. (The eating should be epic. *g*)
• On the fifth week of November I'm completely and totally free (barring any moving issues). But the fifth week has only two days to it.

So, why did I bother signing up?

• Being so utterly certain of failure kind of takes the pressure off. :)
• First drafts are always crap + This first draft is guaranteed to be crap (see above schedule for November) = even less pressure
• I have an idea; I think it's kind of cool; this will encourage me to write when everything else in my life will be handing me huge excuses not to.

I wonder how it'll come out in the end?
