So after picking up a couple of shifts and working, working, working, I got sick. :( Nothing dramatic, I'm pleased to say. Just the sort of thing where you have to haul a kleenex box around everywhere you go. But it was annoying and a bit exhausting

I think JFlans is amazing at that crime-drama-special-agent thing.

Agreed! I'd love to see him in that sort of role in the future. As a Brandon Dean type character would be extra cool. :) (Though if the character also carried around a pocket pepper-grinder? \o/)

(I have to admit, though, Freya on TC needed a massive wardrobe overhaul. NSA agents do not wear belly-exposing shirts, no matter how lovely the belly).

Ha! Yeah, I noted that myself. Though I was more laughing at the mid (or was it late?) 90's fashion dating. IIRC, everyone (on TV, anyway) was running around in not-quite-long-enough shirts. I didn't question it too much at the time, but seeing it again? It's a tiny bit silly. (Oh, rules of fashion... you just stay as spazy as you are. *g*)

Oh! I did notice that last scene had her in a completely different sort of outfit. Much more adult and professional (though also quite sexy). That's one of the things I wondered about, actually. Where was her character, now that she was more at peace with her abilities, going to go?

You know, there's actually some really good TC fic out there that deals with what happens to a woman in her twenties who pretty much just stopped developing emotionally when she was in her late teens. How does she catch up? Does she catch up? What kind of mark does that leave? Really interesting stuff. (plus, some really cute brendan/freya stuff, i will not lie to you). Let me know if you want the hookup.
