It has been a while, hasn't it? Not too much that's terribly exciting, basic school things. Papers and such. How about you? The Welcome Center's thriving, I see.

Since summer, right? And you've got classes? I definitely don't envy you, but I hope everything's going okay.

I'm great! Yeah, the Center's doing really well and... seriously, even with the curses, everything is pretty amazing.

Yep, since summer. They're not so bad, and some of the research is actually pretty fun!

That's great to hear! So you're having a good time, then?

What kind of research? Like, what field?

I'm having an amazing time. I mean, it's not amazing all the time, but it beats being dead by miles.

Well, not really a field, since I'm still an undergrad. But a lot of my classes seem to be revolving around Sexually Transmitted Infections this semester. It's really awesome!

Yeah, so I've heard. A lot. Mostly from Demyx.

Oh! You ran into him? He's so cute. I can't believe he doesn't care about that time when I could've shot him. You know, if the safety hadn't been on. And if I could've used a gun.

Oh, yeah. I mean, not the classes themselves, but what I choose to do within them. But it's crazy, medicine's been coming a long way. The treatments for some of them are incredible.

[sidestepping the 'ran into him' question] Oh he is adorable, isn't he? It's not something he would care about, though. It's nothing he hasn't been exposed to before. And- hmm, I wonder if it'd actually have done anything . . .

Is that what you're planning on doing? In the future, I mean? Because I think that'd be neat, finding cures for things.

Almost being shot is kind of something that should... not be a normal thing. Even if it maybe doesn't do anything because Demyx has those... you know, water powers and teleporting powers.

No, not finding cures. But I do plan on keeping up to date on these things, advocate for sex education, and otherwise getting information out there as much as possible.

Well, normal is a relative thing, anyway. And oh, yeah. Powers, right. Those too.
