You always manage to write him so well...true to canon but not as shallow as he's made out to be! ^^

It does make sense that it's a high for him, and that he seeks attention of the masses because he's a bit lonely. Awws.

Thank you so much! I think Hammer is neglected in the fandom, and rightfully so. He's such a douche that it's hard to feel for him, etc. But little things come to me and I just can't let them go...I think there might be more there...or at least there was at one time.

I like! It always bothered me that Billy kept getting away when Hammer could have so obviously put him in jail so many times.

I've always known that the villain has to get away so the plot can continue, but the idea that there was more to it here niggled at me until this came out.
