Well done, a few of the congresspeople I still believe in.
Will this be a token gesture, like the amendments against flag burning or gay marriage that're introduced by Republicans every year, or could this be the start of something real?
It all depends on if we can keep up the pressure, I think.
We need to be holding Democrats accountable for their claim that they still look out for the little guy. And we absolutely need campaign finance reform in the Constitution itself. It's the only way--outside of a sudden reversal from the Supreme Court--we'll be able to legally stop the massive corporate dollars that run our elections.
