OMFG That was EPIC!!!
Today was the last day of school before SUMMER BREAK! But even more amazing than that is that our school participated in helping the Red Cross and stuff simulate their response to an Anthrax attack. It was pretty much the greatest thing I've seen in anywhere ever.
Okay, so, first off, I was one of the people from our school's 'drama club', Mirror Images. Despite the fact that I had to drop out this year due to family issues, I was allowed by the incredible Miss L to participate in this anyway.
So we get to the place it's being held at, and at first, when Holly and I tried to cross the parking lot, a cop and a teacher yelled at us. So we had to wait in line to GET TO WHERE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE. It pissed us off.
Later, Ricky and I got a couple Role Card. We had to pretend to be husband and wife in a domestic dispute. LULZ COULD BE HAD JUST FROM THAT. But we weren't really sure on what to do, so we went through the line, wondering when to start acting. We made it through the whole thing without acting, because we wound up split up by a guy that told us 'too bad'.
AFTER THAT fiasco, we decided to give it another go. Seeing the other teacher run around screaming I NEED MY MEDICINE, showed us where we needed to act. So as Ricky skillfully got us escorted to the front of the line by informing a worker that he needed to leave early (which was true), we began to DOMESTICLY DISPUTE.
"I hate you Ricky! I hope you die! I never want to see you again, you cheating scum!" was some of what I was shrieking at the top of my lungs at my Princess. I don't know if he was shouting much back, but I know I was screaming for all I was worth at the sorry bastard XD (ILU RICKY)!!!
So then the cops pretend to separate us, and I get told "Stand here and don't say another word"
"...God, this is STUPID! That cheating--"
"What part of not another word don't you understand?"
"......"
Then Miss L joins in, who was to be pretending she can't find her daughter. After a moment of Miss L being kind and asking what he did to me for a moment, I begin screaming again. To which Miss L says,
"You need to stop screaming! We have more important things to worry about than you and your issues! I can't find my daughter!"
"Don't talk to me that way!"
We tried yelling again, but we just burst out laughing. Oh that woman is awesome XD
So then the cop escorts me into the building, and he's pretty much just like "...you can stop now."
After all that, I'm walking out from my second go-through when I hear Brian say,
"Can I stand here and watch really quickly? My friend's gonna act,"
"Who's gonna act like what?" I asked.
"Ryan's gonna pretend to steal medicine,"
"SWEET!"
The lady was going to let us, but then she said she couldn't have the doorway blocked. I don't know if Brian stayed, but I wish I would've. According to eyewitness reports (XD), Ryan took a huge handful of the 'medicine' (which was candy bars), and took off running. The end result? Two burly security officers TOOK HIM DOWN!!!! They said it looked like he went down kinda hard (he told me it didn't hurt), and his shoe and sunglasses flew off.
After this, I'm sitting there sipping a coke when I see a handcuffed Ricky come running out. He'd gotten to act again, the jerk XD. Anyway, so he's in cuffs, running out the door, when 2 or 3 people grab him. He starts struggling, and it takes that many cops to restrain him and drag him back in. He's such a good actor! It was hilarious, though, watching one of my best friends be dragged away by cops. Pure gold.
Then Kim told me his Role Card said to act like he was a parent trying to get his kid medicine. So he was running around screaming "MY KID NEEDS MEDICINE NOOOOW!" and then tried to steal it. I'd steal those Snickers bars, too. Mmm.
I also got to see Sarah pretending she's having a baby. She was sitting in a chair screaming "OH MY GOOOOOOD IT'S ON THE WAY! IT'S COMIIIIIIIIIING!!!!"
I later inquired about its gender. She informed me it was both. I told her Anthrax does that to babies (XD).
So this afternoon rocked. A lot. I got to do a real life RPG! *video game geek*
Aside from the excitement this afternoon, today was also the awards ceremony. It's where any awards from teachers are given. Kaylee got THREE freaking art awards, cause she's awesome like that! I got an award for being a Library Aide. I loved it, it was fun. Basically, I just sat there and did homework or drew unless the librarian needed me to check a book in/out or I needed to answer the phone.
My junior year has been the best I've ever had. So far I have little hope for my senior year, seeing as Ricky and Kim are graduating, and Kaylee is more than likely not coming back for next school year. But I refuse to give up hope! And I'm planning to personally ask her dad to let her come here!!! >.< it isn't fair!
But man... so many memories. Homecoming with Trent, where we pretended to be 'groupies' of the marching band; Kim having to leave early because of a shooting at a Wal-Mart (in some other state). The many anime club meetings that gave me headaches, and yet I never ran away. Starting to do Molecule comics in study hall, and having Michael be a big fan the entire way. Starting a collab comic with Kaylee and pretty much rping in real life, then later getting her to do Pony comics while I did Molecule comics. Prom 2008, being 15-20 minutes late to the dinner, and having to run in ball gowns and high heels shouting "WE'RE MAKING MEMORIES!", all while I had strep throat.
I'm so glad I'm alive...
