"Aren't you like 44 years old?!"

Yes, Jenuuush. Close enough.

Today had an infinite amount of potential to be a great day, and it turned out just infinitely bad. I FINALLY got an opportunity to see a show and not have to work and see a truly great band play, and thanks to the deaf, dumb and blind, white-belt, hankey-sporting, emo-haired, tight-pants sheep that seem to be spreading like a plague over the music scene... my night and many other's night were made annoying, frustrating, painful and even seriously harmful.

For any of you out there that think violence is just a part of the deal at shows...

Fuck.

You.

People do not COME to see you act like a jackass. People do not PAY to see you "dance," for lack of a better term. There are kids that just want to dance for the fun of it and I love that; however, they are mightily overshadowed. Two-stepping and good ole' throwing down aside, launching yourself feet first into a crowd of kids and roundhousing people who are trying to... oh my god... WATCH THE FUCKING BANDS is beyond idiotic.

Kudos to Ryan for fuckin takin care of business. Don't you dare feel guilty for one second.

Unfortunately, BTBAM became the backdrop rather than the spotlight of the night. However, they were amazing and I will definitely see them again in December.

Highlights of the day included shopping with Megan and Dani and hanging out with them again for a few minutes before I had to be home. And I'm not even going there.

I'm not sure how to play it anymore, either. It's getting too confusing.

I'm out like that chick who got dragged out of the pit.

Fuck scenesters.

Endpost.
