It's a god awful small affair

I was walking down the hallway of the CAC the other day, and some random guy was playing Ziggy Stardust on his guitar. That's when it passed through my mind that the CAC is probably the coolest place on earth.

Anyway, Chelsea and I were talking the other day about how the lives of music majors suck. Everyone agrees but we all say the same thing. " ( Read more... )

See, I wish more stuff was going on in my life. All of my freinds seem to have more homework and harder classes than I do. I feel like I'm missing something. Plus, I miss real football games with spirit and everything. But alas, if wishes were fishes there'd be no room in the sea for water. Plus, I finished Pride and Prejudice, which is FANTASTIC, and I'm reading the Three Musketeers, which is also FANTASTIC. So I'm slightly occupied.

Maybe your classes don't seem that hard because your smart! lol. My history class is very easy, I aced a test and that made me proud. The only thing stressing me out is Aural theory! That freaking class aims to crush your dreams. I have to sing again this friday, and I have ANOTEHR test tomorrow and I can't hear what everyone else does. Sometimes I do, and sometimes I dont. It's just frustrating to be put on the spot every day in that class. GAH! Anyway, theres my little vent.
Three Musketeers is good. I just stopped reading it because I got sick of A'Dartaniun. (sp?) I really botched that.
Don't worry, I haven't gone to any football games yet. I've watched the spirit from my tv. lol.
If you come to visit soon - I'll show you how Mountaineers have fun and you can spread the love at RM! lol

No, they're just lame. Congrats on acing the history test. Get this - I got a 15 out of 24 on a homework assignment in English. We just had to identify the compound and simple subject!!! The entire class did bad. It pretty much sucks - my first assignment and I'm already failing the course. Gross. Good luck singing.
D'Artaignan (I think I spelled it wrong too) is annoying. He's too nosy and self-righteous and trying to worm his way into everyone's affairs. But I pretty much love Athos - he's definitely my favorite.
As far as the football games go, our stadium is smaller than the one at BP. It makes me sad. I'm totally going to come visit you in October, but I refuse to do any shots.
Have you seen Pride and Prejudice - the one that just came out?

You don't have to do shots to have a good time - I dont plan to do them again, I just wanted to try around good friends. Never hurts to try something.
I heard that movie was bad, so I never saw it. I tried reading the book, but for some reason I'm really not one for British Literature.
And everyone did bad on that homework - no need to worry. I'm sure there will be plenty of more grades. I got a D on a CS101 test if that makes you feel better. :/ But, we get about 1 million grades in that class so I'm not too worried.

The movie was actually pretty good, but I don't know if you'd like it. I'm pretty much in love with Mr. Darcy though - there's one scene where he's walking across a field during the sunrise and he looks yum-my. :)
I love British Literature, but it took me forever to get into P&P. I didn't actually get interested until like 150 pages into it. But the last half is way good. There will be more grades, but it's kind ofdepressing that I can't properly identify the subject and compound subject of a sentence.

But we'd been going over it for a week and a half before we got the assignment. Hence, I shouldn't daydream in class...but i do anyway. Oh well.

LOL...daydreaming in class is all thata gets you through it. CS101 is where I plan out the next few pages of my books...I have a great scene that day, but I then have no idea how to properly import data onto a workbook on Excel. :/
Oh well! haha
PS: Captain of my heart? lol...thats a good one to use later on...hopefully.

Yeah, today in English I was definitely thinking about scenes in my book...the one I haven't written in in ages and ages and probably won't ever get back to, but it occupies my time. And I pretty much hate Excel. They tried to teach me to use it in elementary and middle school, and i still can't do it. So I've come to the conclusion that it can't be all that important. :)
Hehe...Captain of the Loveboat. ;)
