We are in Moncton, New Brunswick, tonight, preparing for the trip over the 5 mile bridge to PEI tomorrow. Hannah made us reservations at a Good Sam campground and it looks quite nice. It even has free showers, something of a rarity in Canada. Victor is showering now, paying 25 cents Canadian for each 5 mins. And he is pissed. I sort of agree with him. I took one this a.m. at a park on the Bay of Fundy for free, so I'm waiting until tomorrow.
I had wonderful seafood chowder for brunch today, and haddock and salad for dinner, with mussels for dessert. The seafood has been wonderful here, and I will especially remember all the boiled lobster. Yum!
We also went over the worst roads in New Brunswick today, and the trailer was a mess when we stopped. It's now picked up and put away, and when we get to PEI it needs a serious cleaning. We saw the Bay of Fundy at high and low tides, and that was pretty cool. We went to Cape Enragement and had an adventure turning the trailer around. In fact, we had two of those adventures today.
Next stop PEI and Hannah and Troy and maybe she will help me down load some pictures of the trip. So. . . je me souviens as they say in Quebec!
