Here we are in Petosky, MI visiting a friend and having fun. So far, Michigan is lots and lots and lots of trees. We finally saw Lake Michigan after 2.5 days of driving beside it. Too many big trees.
The Kiefers tell us that their baby boy, Lochlann, is in his last days. It's very sad, and requires them to make difficult and courageous decisions: they have decided against some extreme measures to prolong his life. My heart goes out to them.
And I have written a fairly good obit for my mother, but it's in wordpad and I can't email it to anyone. This drives me crazy. Feel free to offer suggestions--but remember that I need very detailed instructions.
I'm going to call Hannah soon to see if there is anything I can bring that she can't get there. . . if you are reading this, Hannah, email me at walkers80@cox.net and tell me. I will make an effort to find and bring it.
