Today we "did" Boston. We saw old North Church, Paul Revere's house, the Old Meeting House, the USS Constitution and a bunch of other things. We bought Victor another tshirt, and, sadly, bought another coffee mug--we couldn't resist. We took the underground into Boston and took a tour of the area, then walked and did sightseeing. It was really fun, although they don't understand anything about the European presence in the southwest. Several sources said that the old state house (1640) is the oldest government bldg in the US, but the Governor's Palace in Santa Fe was ~1540. And no one mentions the pueblos, where people have been governing time out of mind. Oh well. . . inconvenient truths.
We finally washed the truck--I was afraid that it would fall apart without the dirt, but it didn't. Our next stop is Hershey PA and then I don't know where.
