Disturbing a half grown duckling at around midnight when it's whinily peeping in its outside cage because mama goose has wandered off provokes a primal reaction in these adorable, soft fluffy darlings:
DUCKLINGRAEEEGGG!!!!111!!!
I picked up Spiff to go put her back in the box in the house (where they'll hush and sleep all night instead of periodically whining) and she PANICKED. Flailing, peeping, and AHAH EVIL FINGER I DEVOUR YOU!! NOMNOMNOM!!!
I'm standing there (in the dark) going "..."
By the time we got in and she could see, she was all "OMG DID YOU SEE THE MONSTER THAT HAD ME??!!"
Yep. Animals that can't see great at night are a blast.
Speaking of that. Did anyone ELSE spend the weekend reminding people that Wrestling Is Not Real, and Yes, Mark Calaway (the Undertaker) did get hurt, but that was in a match, he was NOT beaten dead (again) by persons unknown, if he was, the news would be all over the tv and 'net.
Cause I did. To college edjumacated people. O.o; Hapl. I don't even WATCH TV.
Ahaha, and as it turns out, school is NOT over yet. So I had to run the kid down there. They were very relieved I happened to call, they were about to call me and the cops - see, someone marked him as being in class when he wasn't. They went through a full lock down search while calling the bus driver who could confirm he wasn't on the bus. Next of course was to call me and see if he was home.
Never a dull moment, man.
And the person that plays the Undertaker is fine.
