After all that trauma last Monday, the Cardinals beat Detroit, the 49ers lost to Philadelphia, and consequently Arizona clinched the NFC West. I'm glad, but after last week's debacle I was more than a little worried. If any team could have shown us how to blow a two-game lead with three games left to play, it was the Cards, but they kept it together. Thank god, and thank god Larry's leg didn't fall off last week, etc.
Tonight was the company holiday party. Drank wine, ate seafood, closed the place down. It was fun :)
Also got an invite to join a couple of friends for drinks late on Christmas Eve, after we're done with family obligations. Not a big deal, except that I was invited by a woman who, I suspect, used to hate me, or at the very least, was very mistrustful of me. I think she thought I was after her husband or something, but her concerns were completely unfounded and I'm glad we're finally at a point where we get along really well. It's a good thing.
Unrelated to this, I have no idea what's going on with Gorgeous Neighbor right now, but something...confusing, is happening. When we text back and forth, I feel like half the time he doesn't even know who he's talking to :/ It's just bizarre to me.
