They finally announced the additional cast members to Maki's Asadora/morning drama "Umechan Sensei". Today, they held a press conference with all the main cast members. The ones I recognize immediately are Takahashi Katsumi (from "Nobuta no Produce" and "Tokujo Kabachi") and Koide Keisuke. Takahashi-san will play as the father and Keisuke-kun as Maki's older brother. Can you believe it?! After watching that drama festival where they played that curry game, I noticed Keisuke was looking at Maki and trying to figure out if she was really pretending. That made me wonder if they could co-star together. And it came true. What a coincidence?!
One other ikemen in the cast is Matsuzaka Tori, who plays as Maki's childhood friend. Other cast members include Mimura who plays her sister, Minami Kaho as their mother, Tsurumi Shingo (Chisato's adopted father from AtaDan), and Kataoka Tsurutaro.
