Happy Birthday To Me
I guess it shouldn't hurt so much that only 4 people took the time to remind me of my birthday. It really shouldn't. But out of the only 10 people I expected to actually pay attention, only 4 of them did and that's not even fair because 2 of them live out of state on in Central and the other in Western time.

Oh who am I kidding. It's horrible. It's on the gloomiest day of the week too! There's no sun and stuff, but I expected that, it's April. It could have at least rained or something. I can't even muster up the effort to go a buy myself something nice. After my coming of age ceremony, I doubt it would matter much anyway.
My parents did ask what I needed though, but I told them nothing. It's not what I need, but it's a matter of wanting. But I told them no. They're re-furbishing a house and they need all the money they can get. I'd rather them live in a nice house than to put off having a kitchen sink or something to buy me a gift.
