Long time no post.
This post is semikindasorta different. It's dedicated to a group of people close to my heart, namely Ira (purebloodqueen), Dre (arende), Bejae (runwaycrash), Isai (chickengravyxxx), Jen (pinkxdoll), Mikee, and Raisa. :)
Let me take you back one year ago way back when I was known as flexiblegenius... (Haha, Chamber of Secrets?!?)

CSR Covered Court.
Highschool Dance and Concert in one.
Featuring four bands and a surprise guest.
Which is geistengel, arende, milkmug, and yours truly.
Kidding.
The first band which was Alternate Spectrum consisted of Juniors. For their first song, they made a rock version of 'Happy Together.' Just what like Simple Plan did. I didn't pay attention to the rest of their songs and went outside to look for geistengel. When I found her, we looked for arende and JenTan. The four of us waited for mahiwaga (who was also with Markey, the guy not the frog), milkmug, and purrfectworld by the school's entrance. When they got there, I got a chance say hi to purrfectworld and we went inside.
We split up because mahiwaga and purrfectworld disappeared. Chili, the band which consisted of Seniors, were playing already. They were making us deaf. We went outside just to escape the noise. While the five of us were outside, we were discussing about why the Sophomores didn't have a band that presented for the concert. That's where it all started. I think. We had this crazy but sort of serious idea of forming a band. Here's the line up:
geistengel - Vocals
arende - Bass
milkmug - Guitar
flexiblegenius - Drums
JenTan (Go and get an LJ account!) - Manager
Due to our excitement (which will be explained later on), we forgot to tell mahiwaga if she would like to be a guitarist. She was looking for us at that time and texted milkmug to ask where we were. *insert wur-hur-dur-yur conversation* Lol. Someone from the 'band' said that we ARE the surprise guest in the concert. Hell yeah, when we told cager06 (and other people), she said that people will definitely be surprised. LMFAO. We got scolded by our activity coordinator because we weren't inside the covered court. We decided to go inside.
The fourth band (Selling Side Mirrors) was already playing. We missed Hotsipatootsi, the third. Seems like our 'band' discussions took so long. arende, milkmug, and I tried to go to the nearest Starbucks which was a 5-minute walk from the school. Too bad some Juniors didn't allow us. We went back in the covered court and we saw geistengel and JenTan with food. The three of us went outside to get some.
We didn't go back in, we just went to some random place near the concert area. I asked arende what our band name would be. She asked us what was the use of the band name. What if we wanted to change it and yadda yadda.. Something weird popped in my mind. I suggested a band name, 'No Idea'. arende and milkmug actually liked it. People would go, "What's your band's name?" Then we would reply, "No idea." ROTFLMFAO.
Join The Club, the surprise guest played. arende and I never heard of the band but milkmug said that they suck. We even ended up screaming, telling my best friend (who was one of the concert's committee members) that the band wasn't bad. It was horrible.
We ignored them until geistengel and JenTan showed up and said that one of the band members looked like David Desrosiers of Simple Plan. Being fangirls of Princess David, we ran to where the guy was. To our disappointment, he didn't. Well, actually, he did but we figured that later on.
The five of us went to the girls' comfort room. We didn't realize that the door had no doorknob until arende slammed it shut for us not to hear JTC's music. Here's how everything went.
arende: *slams door*
All: *stare at the door*
JenTan: The door has no doorknob!
geistengel: We're trapped!
arende: Oh no!
milkmug: *screams*
All: *scream along with milkmug*
geistengel: Don't panic. *screams, yells, and bangs the door*
flexiblegenius: Will someone open the fucking door? Puhlease.
*hand appears in a hole where the doorknob should be*
All: Yay!
*hand unlocks the door*
All: *scream, see Ms. Suelto, the Phys. Ed teacher, and stare*
All: MS. SUELTO! *grabs her*
flexiblegenius: *trips because of stupid wire*
All: *run off and split up*
Ms. Suelto, if you're reading this, THANK YOU! <333
The three of us [arende and milkmug] went outside until JTC ended while geistengel and JenTan stayed because of the guy who, according to them, looked like David Desrosiers.
The school newspaper assigned me to interview Join The Club for an article. I asked arende, milkmug, geistengel, and JenTan to join me. We got in because I told Ms. Goloy, the Music teacher, that we would interview them. Some people sneaked in and asked for autographs. Ms. Goloy got angry and shoved them out.
When the people in the room got lesser, that's when it hit us. ONE OF THE MEMBERS OF JTC DOES LOOK LIKE DAVID DESROSIERS.
I asked the band if we could sit down on the floor, for us to be comfortable and have a normal chat. The five of us called ourselves the Press. We even acted like professionals. During the interview, we found out that they look up to the All American Rejects, Yellowcard, and Weezer. We were applauding when the vocalist, Biboy, mentioned the bands' names. Conj, the guy who looks like David Desrosiers, idolizes Simple Plan. No wonder.

We got their autographs too! I kept on apologizing because we delayed them. They still had a gig in Manila. Whoah! Before they left, we kept referring to Conj as Kuya David. He waved at us when we were screaming David and other stuff like that. I even asked him if he loved Pierre. According to milkmug, no reply means yes. LOL.
When JTC left, we had an aftermath. Of course, after interviewing a mainstream band, who wouldn't experience an aftermath? We stared at the autograph and the paper that Biboy gave us. Written in that paper was Join the Club's line up. Biboy is the vocalist. Pao is the drummer. Migs is the guitarist. Lastly, CONJ IS THE BASSIST. What a coincidence!
Too bad JTC left too soon. No time for a photoshoot. I'll post a picture of the autographs once arende scans it.
OMG. Did I mention that JTC and I are close? I mean, Biboy slapped me (gently) on the knee when he asked if the Press had more questions and Migs patted me on the shoulder when I kept apologizing for the delays and stuff. Lol. Just ignore me.
There is no doubt that I had a great time and I spent it with great people too!

She has an icon with the same words written on it. When I saw it, I asked her to make me one too. I <3 you, geistengel. The icon rocks.
