That is a LOT. You should see Lost and Delirious and My Summer of Love, although they're both cracked out. Perks of Being a Wallflower isn't terribly gay, is it? You should also read Pages For You, I liked that. And Empress of the World, although that's not really...a good book.

I've only read/seen like half these, because I don't really like things about guys, which is marginally acceptable, and politics, which is not at all. I need to fix that. I really liked Beautiful Thing and All Over The Guy, though.

I still need to see Nick & Norah.

I know! I was typing it up and was like wtf I've seen all these? I knooow I need to see those. They're on my to-see list, but I haven't gotten around to them. Lol I like cracked out. Well, I included books and movies that had important and positive main gay characters in it. I'll put those on my list too :D

Nick and Norah is so ridiculously adorable and fantastic. I reallly loved the soundtrack, too, which is sort of unrelated, but whatever.

Also, you were on gmail earlier today while I was on, and I was going to chat you, but you signed off too quickly. It was sad.

Put Rent on there too, then?

:( I have to go shower and pack now, but I'll probably be on after that. Will you?

Um, I actually forgot about Rent (D:)

Um, no, probably not. I'm just now finishing up my homework, and I'm going into the living room to watch Bones. (I had to send my laptop to get it fixed D:)
Send me an email, though, and I'll reply to it once it's over :D

I forgot to say this on your recommendation post, which I don't know how because it's my absolute favorite book, but you should definitely check out Dream Boy by Jim Grimsley. It's amazing. I've read it well over ten times and I never get tired of it. :)

I have seen/pretty much own all of those movies. Hah. With the exception of nick and norah. I didn't know it was glbt.

I highly recommend Different for Girls; Love, Valour, and Compassion; The Trip; Jeffrey; Mambo Italiano; Guys&Balls; and Summer Storm. I could have about a bajillion more, but I decided to refrain. Plus, out of the 150+ glbt films I've seen, only about 35-45 of them are worth while. XD!

Well, its main focus isn't lgbt, but the main character's two best friends are, and they pretty much save the day.

Lol, don't refrain! I want to see every gay movie and read every gay book ever, even if they're crap. (Hah, nice life goal, right?)
I've seen Mambo Italiano! I liked it! I forgot it! *edits*

I know, right?
I've been meaning to watch Mysterious Skin, and I think I may have seen Bad Education, but I don't remember. I'll check it out, though. Thanks for the rec :)

Hm, I agree. I mean, I thought it was cute, but not particularly good. Especially the last two books. Alex Sanchez sort of reminds me of Smyer. Except without sparkley vampires.

I put Rainbow Boys on here because I felt like he should be on there just for the fact that he was, I believe, one of the first YA gaybook authors that did really well.
