Well, I haven't got OFFICIAL approval for Sukoshi Con but I did get an " it shouldn't be a problem" so I'm taking it as a yes for now. I got a trench and tie for Castiel yesterday, and hopefully I snag the wig on ebay after work.
I fould a prop maker online who does angel blades on commission, and I was going to wait and save my money, but if I remember right I have a kiddy sword in the garage somewhere... What I'm probably going to end up doing is bashing the hand guard off with a hammer and sealing the edges with duct tape so I can hold it without cutting myself, and painting the hilt silver.
The trench fits all right in the shoulders, but if the armholes prove too cavernous I may have to take it to the tailor's. Hope not though.
