Dash it all!

So journal updating has become one of those pesky things that if I don't do it, there's something I haven't done *eep!* That's how my life goes during the summer, I have gigundous plans, then have to force myself to even get the smallest thing done. However, I've done pretty well this summer. Exercised a majority of days, practiced... some days. I finished the Gormenghast novels! A character I liked died. I may have been more sad at the fact if it weren't for the fact that Tsubasa had given us manna from vampiric canon-making heaven. Still, sad none the less, so here's a quote from Muzzlehatch (RIP), one of my favorite of the entire 1000+ page book:

"There is no point in erecting a structure unless someone else pulls it down. There is no value in a rule until it is broken. There is nothing in life unless there is death at the back of it. Death, dear boy, leaning over the edge of the world and grinning like a boneyard."

On a much less... pretentious note: major accomplishment of the summer *aside from getting employed by a freaking bookstore! hellz yay!*, road trip with Asheeey and Andrew. An honest to goodness, supervision free week long trip to Florida. We made a cozy home out of that trailer, full of pie experimentation and yelling at MTV *and each other*. Funny enough, we didn't yell at each other any more than we do regularly. That either shows that we make a good group... or we're always pissing each other off. *Shrug* why not both?

I don't suppose I'll make another lj entry until move-in next Saturday. That will be a fun day. Then come the days of work, studying, practicing, auditions. But then I will have more chances to feel accomplished.
