so i get the mail today, usual junk/bills and such. i flip through till i find a nice glossy postcard size piece of paper addressed to one Matt Darwin, Visual Effects Editior at 9th Plane Studios. this in and of itsself was not unusual, i get stuff like this all the time. usually advertisements for new CGI software and the like. i half heartly skim over it till i notice something in the upper corner. an 'E' balanced dangerously over a '3'. intrigued and not beyond excited, i tear into the folded paper. its offical ladies and gents, I Have been invited to the Electronic Entertainment Expo may 10-12 at the L.A. Convention Center. i am trying sooo hard to not totaly geek out in fanboy extacy right now. i'm not even sure i can make it, but i'm DAMN sure gonna try. i mean, this is HUUUGE!! when am i gonna get a chance like this again. i could be the break i'm looking for. or it could be a chance to score some cutting edge swag. either way, i'm stoked. heh, and they say lying never get you anywhere...
