(no subject)
This last weekend was busy again, hence the tardiness of this post. Things are keeping plenty busy. I think I have determined to let my car die. It has a cooling problem that I don't want to fix. It has enough other problems that I think I just want a new car and start over. I was hoping to go a bit longer with it but as Peyton pointed out if we did keep it running for a year we would just want it to run for another year after that and so on and so on. May as well upgrade now I suppose. Currently I am thinking about my Opa's 40 year old pickup. An upgrade from a junker to a classic that has been well maintained but doesn't really over too many advantages over my current vehicle. The cost it good though and at least I wouldn't mind repairing a classic as much as a junker.
The other thing that kept us busy was a coworker who is stuck here for work who usually lives in Houston. After three weeks he was more than grateful for the home cooked meal. I have been working many 12 hour days but I worked one Friday and Saturday and then with company on Sunday that just about sums up the weekend once you factor in playing with Portia.
We will see how work goes this week, this are starting to get crowded.
